I qualified from The Liverpool University Dental School in 1998 and ever since have enjoyed a fulfilling career in dentistry, nine years of which have been at Redland Road. My special interest is in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment) I take a pride in being able to provide this unnecessarily feared procedure in complete comfort and to a high standard. I also enjoy the challenge of restoring the tooth following RCT which is key to the long term prognosis of the tooth. This year I am embarking on a further course of study in Endodontics at the University of Chester in March. This will build towards an MSc in Endodontics. I use contemporary techniques including magnification to carry out evidence based dentistry to a high standard.
As a father of two, I have a natural and empathetic rapport with children and believe in making a visit to the dentist a relaxed, personal and pain free experience and that this is essential in forming a positive attitude towards long term dental health. In my free time I am a keen cyclist and cycle to work most days, I also enjoy the challenge of marathon running and hope to take part in my first trail marathon later this year.
